Milk prices to rise from today in GujaratJul 1, 2013, 05.22AM IST TNN AHMEDABAD/ VADODARA: Milk prices across Gujarat will soar from Monday by Rs 2 per litre. While the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) had already decided to increase milk prices of Amulbrand milk with effect from July 1, a majority of dairy unions too have decided to implement the price hike decision from Monday itself. Earlier GCMMF-the apex marketing body of all the district dairy unions of Gujarat-had announced that milk prices of all the varieties including standard, toned and double toned milk will increase by Rs 2 per litre in Ahmedabad and Saurashtra markets.
