Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Professor Viola Onwuliri, has urged the people of the South East to inculcate the habit of personal hygiene in order not to contract the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). Speaking during Iriji Festival, hosted by the Obi of Obinugwu and Chairman, Imo State and South East Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Cletus Ilomuanya, in Obinugwu, Orlu, yesterday, Onwuliri urged the people to be cautious, and always wash their hands with soap. “You know what is happening. Be cautious, learn to wash your hands very well and always wash your hands with soap. “If you wash your hands without soap, you are giving the micro organism water to drink and get more power to attack you. “As many times as possible in one day, wash your hands with soap and run away from areas where you would have contact with people you are not sure of their health status,” Onwuliri stated.
