The Qualifying Exam (QE) % : For UG Students - Overall Percentage in 2nd PUC / 12th. For PG Students – Aggregate % of all Semesters / Years of UG Course Studied. Annual Income of the student’s Parents/Guardians from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh. The Students who have been sanctioned Merit-cum-Means Scholarship FRESH / Renewal in 2012-13 are eligible for Renewal in 2013-14 if they have scored above 50% in previous semester / year final examination and studying in the same course. Students doing their Final year Internship cannot Apply. IMPORTANT POINTS FOR STUDENTS BEFORE FILLING THE ONLINE APPLICATION ENTER CORRECT DETAILS : While filling the ONLINE APPLICATION. Enter all details Correctly. QUALIFYING EXAM (QE) Marks (For Fresh candidates) : (a). If you are studying in 1st or 2nd or 3rd or 4thyear of Graduation, the Qualifying Exam (QE) is 12th Std / 2nd PUC. Hence all UG students must enter their overall 12th / 2nd PUC Marks as Qualifying Examination Marks. (b). If you are studying 1st or 2nd or 3rd year of Post Graduation, the Qualifying Exam (QE) is the Degree Course. Hence all PG students must enter their Aggregate Marks of all Semesters/Years as Qualifying Examination Marks (Degree course). The Qualifying Exam Marks once entered cannot be changed. If any discrepancy is found in the QE Marks filled ONLINE & the Photocopy of the QE Marks Card attached, such applications will be REJECTED. BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS : All Applicants FRESH & RENEWAL for Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 2013-14 must fill the details of the BANK ACCOUNT in the ONLINE Form. Hence before filling the ONLINE APPLICATION, students must keep the following details ready in hand – FULL BANK ACCOUNT NO. ( 12/14/16 digit), BANK NAME, BANK BRANCH ADDRESS & BANK BRANCH IFSC CODE to complete filling the form. COLLEGE FEE RECEIPT : All applicants must enter the FEE Receipt No.,date of admission and fees paid. FOR STUDENTS OF DHARWAD, MYSORE &TUMKUR DISTRICTS - AADHAR No. : For Students whose Permanent Address is located in Dharwad, Mysore &Tumkur Districts filling the AADHAR No. is compulsory. Hence Such students must keep the Aadhar No. ready before filling the Application. They must also enter the same Bank Details as they have given for the AADHAR. EMAIL ID & MOBILE No : Every applicant will get a TEMPORARY ID for his/her application. This information is sent to the Email ID & Mobile No. entered. Kindly give correct Email ID & Mobile No. HOW TO APPLY ? Step 1 : Visit momascholarship.gov.in and click on the button “ Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship” Step 2 : Go to the Link “ Student Registration ” and Click on “ Student Registration ” Step 3 : Follow the Steps and complete filling the ONLINE Form with correct details. Step 4 : After entering all details, click on the SAVE Button & Verify all details entered. Step 5 : If you are sure all details are correct, click on FINALIZE & SUBMIT Button. Step 6 : Click on the Button PREVIEW / PRINT REPORT, you will see your 8 page Filled in Appln. Step 7 : Download the Filled ONLINE Application and save it in your Computer. Step 8 : Print the downloaded ONLINE Application – 8 Pages. Step 9 : Visit your College/Institution, get the details of college filled in Page 5 & 6 in the Application. Step 10 : Attach all documents required along with the HARD copy and Send it to Directorate of Minorities, 20th Floor, V.V. Towers, Bangalore – 560001 in person or by Post / Courier. Kindly write “APPLICATION FOR MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIP 2013-14”on top of the Envelope DOCUMENTS TO BE SENT ALONG WITH HARD COPY OF ONLINE APPLICATION Photocopy of 12th std / 2nd PUC Marks Card & Previous Sem / Year Marks card for Under Graduation students attested by Head of Institution / Gazetted Office. Photocopy of Graduation Marks Cards (All semesters/Years) & Previous Sem / Year Marks Card for PG students attested by Head of Institution / Gazetted Office. Photocopy of Income Certificate issued by the Tahsildar or OriginalIncome Affidavit in a Non-Judicial stamp paper of Rs.20/-. Attested photocopy of the Fee Receipt issued by the College for the current year. 1 Passport Size Recent Color photo to be Pasted on the 1st Page of the Hard Copy of the Application. Photocopy of the Bank Pass book (1st page) indicating A/C No. & IFSC Code etc. For Students whose Permanent Address is located in Dharwad, Mysore & Tumkur Districts Only - Photocopy of the Aadhar Card / Acknowledgement has to be attached Compulsorily NOTE If any of listed documents are not attached, the Application will be Rejected. Applications received after LAST DATE will not be considered both for fresh & renewal. Incomplete information in the application & incomplete documents will not be considered.
