Ministry, what is ministry to you, and what is true ministry in the eyes of GOD? Brothers and sisters, many of us have our own thoughts concerning ministry, what ministry is, and how to perform ministry! But the true ministry of JESUS CHRIST is not some twelve step program, a religious organization, a strategic thought out plan, or some religious institutions comprised of religious rules and regulations, that gives us a new doctrine or some written set of rules on how to do ministry! For the ministry of JESUS CHRIST is controlled by the spirit of GOD, and the sons of GOD who are led by the spirit of GOD!~ The real Church of JESUS CHRIST is the ministry of JESUS CHRIST, it is not my ministry, it is not your ministry, it is not Td Jakes ministry, Benny Hinn ministry, Kenneth Copland ministry, Joyce Myers ministry, Joel Osteen ministry, or the ministry of any man or woman who claims they have founded the ministry of JESUS CHRIST!..............lol~ For there is no other ministry besides the ministry of JESUS CHRIST, for there is only one body of CHRIST, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of THE GIFT OF CHRIST. (1 Timothy 1:12) And I thank CHRIST JESUS our Lord, who has enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-16) And GOD gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. Brothers and sisters, In this word Paul says, GOD gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists, and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry! They key word here is GOD GAVE, men did not give themselves, and neither did men raise themselves up, men did not get power from other men, titles from other men, positions of authority from other men, and neither did they receive the education of men, for GOD ALONE GAVE some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry! (2 Timothy 4:2-5) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But you watch in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry. Brothers and sisters, the real ministry of JESUS CHRIST is controlled, led, and operates by THE GIFTS OF GOD, not by the might of men, the strength of men, man’s education, man’s titles, or their carnal man made positions of authority! The HOLY SPIRIT is what controls and leads the real ministry of JESUS CHRIST, the church of JESUS CHRIST, and the sons of GOD, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14-17) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (John 3:5-8) JESUS SAYS, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not Marvel that I said unto you, You must be born again. The wind blows where it wants to blow, and you hear the sound of the wind, but you cannot tell where the wind comes from, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. (John 16:12-15) JESUS SAYS, I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father has are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you. (John 15:26-27) JESUS SAYS, But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me: And you also shall bear witness, because you have been with me from the beginning. (John 14:16-17) JESUS SAYS, And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see him, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you. (John 14:25-26) JESUS SAYS, These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 15:1-8) JESUS SAYS, I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. If a man does not abide in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples. Brothers and sisters, I just love the word of GOD, for it is like a great mysterious puzzle, which is given unto us line upon line, precept upon precept, truth upon truth, word upon word, here a little, and there a little! But the beauty of something mysterious is to find out the TRUTH of what makes it a mystery! I love the word of GOD because it is like the music of mathematics, numbers singing, but you have to look beyond the words to understand their deep meanings!~ (1 Timothy 3:16) And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (Colossians 1:25-29) Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily. ~~ If you enjoy reading the messages consider signing up for weekly or monthly emails with a link of current messages.
