GROW THE PASTOR, GROW THE CHURCH In my time of researching, analyzing and interacting with churches and leaders, I have NEVER sees a church that outgrows the pastor. The growth of the pastor will always be the growth of the church. If a pastor or minister is no more advancing in the Spirit, growing in knowledge of God, being spiritually strong, holy,pure and in leadership and relational skills, then his church will stop growing. A weak pastor means a weak church. A prayer less pastor means a prayer less church. A sinful, carnal pastor means a sinful, carnal church. The life of the pastor percolates, permeates and penetrates the life and blood of the church. If you really want the church to grow spiritually, making mighty and positive difference in society, the we pastors must take our personal, ministerial, leadership and professional growth with all seriousness.
