Minnesotas 17-16 dual meet win over the four-time defending NCAA champion Penn State wrestling team on Sunday was good for both teams. The Golden Gophers are now ranked number one in Intermats latest Dual Meet rankings. The Lions, meanwhile, jump from #10 to #6 with the one-point setback. Iowa, Ohio State and Minnesota are one, two and three, respectively, in the Tournament rankings. The Nittany Lions are up to seventh there. Former Indian Valley wrestler Kaleb Loht, a defending D3 national champion, is still ranked first at 141 pounds. Loht is a senior for Messiah College. And Mifflin Countys Hayden Hidlay remains the fifth-ranked 145-pounder in the country. Hes the top-ranked junior nationally at that weight class.
