Minor rant time.... I have spent most of the day on the phone trying to find & instruct a solicitor for a house purchase. I have rung 11 soliciors, 4 have not even bothered to answer the phone after repeated calls, 5 have promised to call back by the end of the day, with a quote, but have not despite having my phone number & email address. One quoted but were very expensive & didnt seem particually interested in a quick turnaround. How hard is it to try to spend money on a service?! The silver lining is I have found a local firm who are sensibly priced, and have replied very quickly & seem to listen to what the client wants, hopefully the start of a long business relationship!
