Miracles. In the age of Animism when piety was associated with doing astonishing things how could anyone accept that a messenger of God did not perform miracles and that the yardstick for judging truth or untruth was the verdict of knowledge and its concrete results! The proposition can hardly or does not appeal at all to the prevailing intellect of modern age, which would spurn at the idea that a prophet can perform no miracle. In 21st century billions of humans still living in the age of hunter-gatherer and do not agree to attach reason to religion. Surprisingly, it includes all the monotheistic religions without exception.I beg your apology to state here that most of the Quranists and Quran Aloners are also suffering from the same decease. We firmly believe that laws of Allah with in the universe and the human world are unalterable and surely protected by Allah and we also morally accept that a law maker can not be above the law and while having a power and capacity does not change it. As we know that adhering Allahs laws take us to straight path and in Sura Hud the Messenger informed us that my Rubb is on straight path. I beg to my brothers and sisters to reflect on it. How can Allah change his laws in the universe or in the human world? Dont we understand that there will be a chaos in the universe. Therefore, while studying, reflecting Quran we must follow 17: 36 and wherever we feel that our level of intellect and knowledge do not have capacity to understand the matter clearly than instead of labeling it as miracle,seek intellectual strength and knowledge from Allah Subhana. I hope that in the way of life (Deen) our actions should be judged by their results. Please comment.
