Missing Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Boeing 777-200 9M-MRO flight # MH370 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing Why do our officials all still insist on speaking in English when they cannot even pronounce some words properly or use correct grammar when briefing the press? Arent they proud of the countrys national language, why not speak in Bahasa Malaysia? Be like the Japanese, Thais or Vietnamese, Spanish, French, Portuguese, for example, and let the foreign press get their own translations, use your own national language and this is the best opportunity to show to the people all over the world our the national language, Bahasa Malaysia. No one is going to chide them for this. This is the time to promote and expose our language internationally. It is better than making themselves be a laughing stock to the world with their poor English showing their poor grammar and their improperly pronounced English words.
