Mitchell stated that speciation is when //species can not breed and make fertile offspring.// I wonder what that means for ring species like ensatina salamanders. Ensatina salamanders in region A can produce offspring with those in B those in region B can produce offspring with those in C those in region C can produce offspring with those in D BUT, those in region D CANNOT produce offspring with those in A Darwinist suggest that this is evidence of a species undergoing speciation through natural processes. What are your thoughts?
