Mob Delta Cmon Bro that is sarcasm!! Yesterday at 3:51am · Like · 1 Iowane Sitiveni Tunaka She for the people gb bless Yesterday at 7:51am · Like Rodney Yee I am serious her argument for the indigenous is in line with the DRIP and the recommendations by the ICERD. She is also correct about consultations. Decision about national identity is for discussion, consultation and dialogue and possibly referendum. The process is important and is a sustainable approach. If we did a referendum and we all chose Fijian then it gives us a sense that is truly what is preferred by all. Consultation allows those who have reservations a space to share their reservations and their reasons for it. We may not agree with the outcome but is good to be consulted. It is about human dignity and the respect. Yesterday at 8:00am · Like · 3 Mob Delta Well before we signed the Peoples Charter for Change, Peace and Progress (PCCPP) we knew what we were getting ourselves into. And one of the topics was everyone being called Fijian. Controversial it may be.... yet 64% supported it! Yesterday at 9:12am · Like Mob Delta I supported the Charter! Cmon Rod you know she is full of cr*p! Yesterday at 9:15am · Like Rodney Yee The charter called for a national identity not necessarily Fijian. It was written by people who believed that the 1997 Constitution was alive. That constitution identified us as Fiji Islanders. That constitution also got submissions and was endorsed by...See More Yesterday at 9:19am · Like · 3 Jone Tovata Mob Delta lol 21 hrs · Like Serupepeli Bue Caginavanua Yeah YEAH 2 hrs · Like Mob Delta Well!! my dear bro Rod is playing chess... with the issue yet Rod is citing DRIP or UNDRIP (United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples) in my opinion this is a lukewarm document which looks as if it is administering to indigenous ... however it is not.... because indigenous right of space (Land, Sea and Air) has been invaded...so why did those nations come up with such document when it cannot restore justice.....(reconciliation as compared to restorative justice)..... Most of those that signed the UNDRIP were countries that invaded nations.... Teimumu seem to qoute the UNDRIP but fiji was absent from its signing. and the thing is i am an Itaukei... and there is nothing wrong with land, qoliqoli and even with the land bank......!! And.... there was no need for consultations!! 56 mins · Like Mob Delta Well if Rods account of Teimumus arguement is correct about consultation about national identity... than Teimumu must either trying to be funny or simply ignorant... We are Fijians as a nationality.....but ethnically we are still different we are Itaukei, Indians, Chinese, Koreans, Rotumans, Tongans...etc! So My dear brother Rodney knows very well that he is a Fijian who is an ethnic Chinese. I as an Itaukei, should i be alarmed???? no!! hell no! i am proud of my bro!! .... ask me about the case of James Ah Koy! ... A Fijian was an ethnic Chinese still an ethnic chinese but inducted into the books of the Itaukei to have the privilege as Itaukei ? Should i be alarmed??? no it is the prerogative of the yavusa and mataqali that inducted him.. Did that change the ethnicity of James Ah Koy??? no!! it didnt. and nothing will. 39 mins · Like · 1 Jone Tovata MOB Delta drau fire mada kei Rod! LOL 38 mins · Like Mob Delta rrrrrt! 38 mins · Like Jone Tovata Hihihi 37 mins · Like Mob Delta Well my bro Mr. Rod go tell that woman to.....look into her province..her traditional duty is no joke! there is alot of demand on it and there is blurry demarcation and overlaps in land boundaries.. between Noco Nakorovou.... people from Nakorovou has poor land qualities and have snugged to Noco land of the village of Nacuru... well this wasnt requested pure invasion.. I hope she resolves that.... because Nakorovou population has increased so people to arable land ratio has drastically reduced.... and with the increasing salinity levels these scarce lands have further reduced. I have spoken to the elders of Nacuru Village a mataqali mentioned that their 75 acre land has been agnawed by these Nakarovou villagers for farming and firewood... chopping down indigenous trees that have been standing there more than 90 years!!.... No! can any one resolve this what is so special about this Fijian issue when some of the Itaukei do not arable land in their allocated space. I advise Teimumu to approach the Nacuru people a humbly ask for land for the people Nakarovou..... Wouldnt that be sweet!.... and now tell me if a person from Lau can reason with them and convince them with logic expressed by humility and an invite to the christian question of .... who is my neighbour??? . To hold -off a police report and even a violent attack by 45 men imagine what a chief could do!! 12 mins · Like Mob Delta This poor demarcation exists in the whole of the provinces in Fiji. I request all the ITaukei and all the so called chiefs to shut-up on this Fijian label issue it is rotten, obvious and irrelevant and focus on their land boundaries and lease allocations, wrongfully denied mataqali members, erased tokatoka and ... because these chiefs are still stealing from the people and they are distracting others to this very human concept of Equal Citizenry, Land Ban
