Mollie Younger Noe (Taken from Courier-Journal article) Noe, who said she was named 2013 entrepreneur of the year by Todays Woman magazine and who was endorsed by the Metropolitan Louisville Womens Political Caucus, said she is a liberal progressive mother who works and supports womens issues, including fair pay. As a real estate agent and owner and operator of several small businesses, the Louisville native said she knows the community well, is young, energetic, and not jaded. Noe supports repurposing or rehabilitating green space in the district to use for events and gatherings. As she has campaigned, Noe said people have talked to her about crime and safety, and sustainability. She said some people also feel basic services are going away and want quality roads and sidewalks. Noe said, as evidence of her belief in increasing the minimum wage and paying a fair wage, she pays the 10 artists who work for her $18.50 an hour.
