Mom Post: DH and I just got back from a trip 8 hours from home. During that trip SD had surgery to get her appendix out (we couldnt come home because BD was in a wedding up there and we couldnt leave without her). Well today we drove back home and went straight to the hospital where she was and as you can imagine BD4 was already tired well we spent a good 2 hours there with her and then BD got cranky and so DH made a comment that BD is tired so were gonna head home well we get to the elevator and he makes a comment about how that isnt going to help SDs (13) relationship with BD (we have had jealousy issues before), because now it makes it seem like were leaving just because of BD and I am like because you phrased it like that! BD is exhausted so of course she is going to cry then he proceeded to basically question the truth to that and I havent talked to him since. I just feel like 10pm is late for a 4 year old as is, especially after an 8hour drive. I hate this whole thing... I am just at wits end.... I dont get it, if he really thought that would make her have a bad attitude towards BD why did he say it? (Because he was frustrated was his answer to that)..... Am I overreacting? No bashing please ~o(Astarte)o~
