Moncton needs to add more street names that reflect its francophone population, according to a city councillor. Coun. Daniel Bourgeois said he would like to see more emphasis placed on francophone names on streets in the city. “We could go from less than 10 per cent street names that are of a French name to maybe closer to 30 per cent over the years. [Eventually] something as simple as 50-50,” he said.
