Monday, December 15: Dane was a tired little guy today, he came home from school early saying he didn’t feel good. We got him some lunch and he felt some better and then he took a nap for several hours and he says he is fine now. I left him with his brother and Chloey for a while as I spoke to one of the precious womens’ Sunday School classes at our church for their Christmas Party. Pierce was trying to entertain Dane so they put in an old home movie from 2005. Dane was 3 and Pierce was 8. So precious those are to me. Both of them were so cute and and I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the lives of my children and the precious memories that I have of them growing up. God has shown me so many things on this journey. For tonight, as I spent time with these ladies, I was overwhelmed with how God puts His people together in fellowship. Those women are my church family, each of them praying, crying and walking along side me. Dane is theirs too. Like them, I am equally thankful for each person who has followed and prayed for Dane. I know I am in the company of God’s people. I know that the Lord has lessons, mercies in this journey for many. I am humbled to be a part. So tonight as I drove home, I see the stars so clearly in the night sky in the country and I feel so small but not insignificant as I am assured that God is BIG and He is ever working in our lives. How awesome to be loved so much. “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are Gods children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3:1-2 Glory to God….Sunday’s coming…….
