Monday Morning Pondering: I was returning home from taking my daughter to school when this song came on the radio. Having never heard the song, I sat in the car to finish listening. Rarely, in the hectic nature of life, do I take the time to stop and listen. The lyrics were so powerful. Then, it dawned on me....with this kind of love and grace, why do so many people want to run from the one who loves us this much? Why have so many bought into the lie that our Lord, Jesus Christ, our Savior, came to condemn us? He came to give us abundant life and freedom. Of course, like any parent, He has some guidelines and boundaries...but they are set in place so we can have FREEDOM and life without regrets!!! What are you running from?!?!? What are you afraid of?!?!? You say you want freedom...so you run from the one who offers you TRUE FREEDOM. Whats up with that?!?!? So, as big a question as How Can It Be? that He would do all these things. My question is How Can It Be...that anyone would want to run away from all that He has to offer?
