Monday Shout Outs Hello, Everyone, and Happy Monday from Jim Fordyce and CoachellaValleyFun Hello, Everyone ... and Happy Monday! What a great weekend. There was opening night at College of the Desert as the students there performed the British comedy Will Any Gentlemen? They did a great job on this funny play. It runs again next weekend, so get your tickets now. We took some opening night CVFunFotos for you to see, and the interview we did right before the show is still posted for you to listen to. I am told it was a great night at Heath Gallery. Famed San Francisco artist John Waguespack opened his exhibit there. Our reporter was taken ill and could not make it, but my spies say it is wonderful and I plan to drop by and see it. The exhibit runs until October 27. Saturday was the AIDS walk for which lots of cash was raised. And a special shout out to Oscars, where a few us had dinner Saturday night and it sure was good. Another fine place to eat in our beautiful valley. Lots of fun coming up! You will find it all at Coachella Valley Fun. There are new shows coming from Desert Rose and Desert Theatreworks. We have the previews. There is a classic car show coming to the valley this weekend, too. You can enjoy the old cars and maybe win one. Be sure to listen to our CVFuncast about that.
