Money! As some of my friends and former students know, I never get tired of quoting my favorite Russian writer Anton Chekov about the power of money: Money, like Vodka, can do crazy things! And, of course, both Shakespeare and Marx most memorably talked about the magic and power of money. Is there any piece in the world that can match up to the power of Marxs The Power of Money--a chapter in his _Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts of 1844_? (Im posting a link to that piece below).
