More and more we hear of the people of the USA becoming upset with the direction of our country. Certain sections of some states, such as northern Colorado, and even whole states, such as Texas are actually talking about seceding from the good old USA. The hard working Americans are fed up with the government throwing their hard earned money into things that they do not agree with. Lavish political trips, costing millions, buildings that cost millions that are never used but torn down, as the one in Afghanistan, giving to countries whose people use us and hate us, removing the inscriptions, which our forefathers placed upon our national monuments that honor our God, giving citizenship to those who broke our laws, placing extreme burdens upon our businesses, and allowing the IRS to investigate for political purposes while they spend millions on parties, forbidding our military to say prayers, not protecting our foreign embassies, wars that we have no business being involved in maiming and killing our sons and daughters, giving civil rights to sinful practices and placing those rights above the God fearing citizens of this country, striving to take away the right to bear arms, destroying huge companies, e.g. coal and oil production without having an alternate plan for energy, giving our national secrets away, sending our manufacturing machinery and knowledge to foreign countries, destroying our medical system, and the list goes on and on. What would our country look like if such succession should take place? I lived in the USA before 1960 and was grown when Kennedy became President and began the great welfare nation. I watched as the liberals took the pie, one bite at a time, and they somehow always used our laws against us. Back then we all worked for a living. No one starved and we had what we earned. We respected our fellow man and worshiped Jesus Christ. If we needed a job there were weeds to cut, hay to bail, gardens to hoe, apples and peaches to pick, lawns to trim, snow to remove, but that is beneath the dignity of those in need today. Work is a bad four letter word for many today. Feeding those in need until they can get a job is one thing but giving free television, cell phones, cars, and other things that many work forty and sixty hours each week to earn is not right. The Bible tells us that we reap what we sow.
