More info from the Parade Committee: You need to meet at the Kinsmen Centre on Lakeshore Road Enter only at Indian Road and Lakeshore Road. DO NOT USE COLBORNE ROAD PARADE UNITS MAY ENTER ( FROM INDIAN ROAD ONLY) Persons being dropped off may use the side streets such as Rowe Ave, Mallah Drive, or Marjorie’s Way. Members of the Kinsmen Club will be there to give you further instructions. Please wait to be directed to your number location upon arriving at the Kinsmen Centre. Entries may start lining up at 9:30 am. Entries must be ready to move up by 11:00 am. The parade starts at 11:30 am. SHARP from Colborne Road Each group must keep the parade pace. There is no stopping or stalling. Do not create parade gaps. Space out 60 feet between floats Parade awards will be announced at the Bandshell during Opening ceremonies. You can pick up your award at the bandshell when it is announced. We ask that you do stay to receive your award. If it is not possible for you to stay, you can pick up your prize at City Hall, 3rd Floor. They are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. The parade will continue on through Canatara Park and finish at the loop by the Sandy Lane apartments. We ask that you arrange a meeting place for parents to pick up their children at a designated location in Point Edward outside of the park. Please make sure the parade participants know where they will be picked up. This is your responsibility. Any group with pets, animals, etc. must follow their group with clean up and clean up material i.e. sawdust, oil dry, etc. There are children and walkers in the parade. If you are handing out any give - aways, they MUST be handed out at the curb: NO TOSSING OR THROWING. Please advise all your participants of the above regulations. They will be strictly enforced. PLEASE REMEMBER TO ENTER ONLY AT INDIAN ROAD AND LAKESHORE ROAD.
