More on the Spider Front -- successfully relocated three today. I consider them to be the silent, watchful guardians who eat other bugs mostly as they spin their magnificent webs of splendor. Or something. Sometimes, I name them. Sometimes, I run from them or scream loudly like someone is murdering me simply because they happen to exist and I realize this. Sometimes, I think they will latch themselves onto my brain and do all sorts of evil things or terrorize me when Im stepping into the shower. Mostly, though, we have a reached an agreement. I think Ive mentioned this before. They get to continue breathing their spidery breath if they do not attack me, glare at me, or make me scream and run out of the room like a crazy woman. So, yeah. Three. I kinda dig that all of them have been Daddy Long Legs (yes, it may be longlegs, but I want to emphasize the Daddy and the Long and the Legs. I can do that. I have the right. Dammit.) Crickets do not have such luxury. The war ensues and mostly, they win because they scare the hell out of me with their jumpy little legs and crickety eyes. Please do not let me come back as a cricket. Oh, and please let the Universe not really be a gigantic insect who wants to suck my brains out. Amen.
