Morning! Hope you all had a wonderful New Years and Holiday season. Its almost 4 am on Sunday, January 4th and I should be asleep but as usual ~ Im not. 2014 was a pretty awesome year for us and I know its one of those cliched things to say Its because of our fans but it really is true. Weve toured all around, had a line of people waiting to buy cds at the Tucson Folk Festival. Weve never had that before. We were in the European edition of Rolling Stone. Yeah, didnt see that coming. I got recognized in Vienna by a fan - two days before we played there. Performed a 6 week tour of Europe. Had an elementary school learn one of our songs and performed it with them. Performed on German Radio and TV stations. Got to stay with Roman in Vienna and new friends in Berlin and Cologne, Released two albums, one of which made a year end Rock and Roll Truth best of list. I know theres more but thats just the first things Im remembering! Thank you. Thank you all for being so awesome and inviting us into your lives. Tracy and I have been hard at work to finish up Volume 2 of our Firefly music project. Disc 2 is tentatively titled Leaves on the Wind Vol 2; No power in the verse can stop me* We have all the songs written for Volume 2 and all mostly recorded. We just wrote the last one 2 days ago and are pretty jazzed on it. Well be starting work on the artwork pretty soon and Tracy should have a new video up, possibly in the next week or so. Cant wait to share it all with you! Im doing a pair of solo gigs this week. Ive also started talking to a new venue for this years Second Annual Southern California Americana Festival. Going to be even better than last year! Oh, and it will be in May. Also really excited about our Hockey Jersey that were offering on our website. Its a limited time thing. We are only taking orders until January 15th - so if you want one, you have to get your order in soon! I have to get some sleep - Were having our Post Holiday Hootenanny Party at our studio tomorrow and I really need to be up early to set that up!
