Morning Post -Day 79. Stone had a really good night and he slept good all night. His blood pressure come down a good bit and we were able to wean him off the drip by a point and 1/2. Just had 75cc of urine. Thank you Lord. He is awake watching tv right now. We will have dialysis today, mostly just to catch back up on fluids he is retaining. Looking foward to big day with rehab afterwards. It is rare in PICU that the stars line up right for an opportunity to get some rest. First Stone has to be doing good and then you have to get the right nurse. God has sent us one for the last two nights and very grateful. Jennifer goes about her work with grace and respect. Last night as I was looking at Stone sleeping so good and taking note of the best blood pressure since I dont know when and to top it off, I had a great nurse, I sat on my couch and I thought of Jacob. He was on my mind all night. As many of you dont know Stone personally, I too do not know Jacob, who is in a room on the other side of this floor. But I do know much of his family. So Im dividing my prayers sending them down both halls of this place now! Parallel set of tracks beside us. Both headed back home!! Train rolls on !!!
