Morning conversation: Man: Why are you here from Ohio to get us to vote for Land? Me: Because Land will be good for Michigan and we need to take back the Senate from Harry Reid. Man: But what business is it of yours how Michigan votes? Me: Sir, as I stated we need to take back the Senate and a win in Michigan with Land is an important part of that. Sir, do you live in Michigan? Man: Yes, I have lived here my whole life. Me: Have you been active working with candidates to make sure Michigan has the leadership you want? Man: No, I really dont get that involved. I have a family and a job...not much time after that. Me: I see. So, you are upset with me coming to your state to influence the vote, but you are not doing anything to influence it. Has it occurred to you that I would not need to be here if you were doing what you should be doing? Man: I never thought about it that way. Me: Enjoy your family and football today. I have to go because I have voters to talk to.. Man: Nice talking with you. I am voting for Land by the way. Me: Great! Now please find another 50 people in your area who are willing to do the same. Isnt your family and nation worth it? Man: Yes. Thank you for being so blunt. Me: Enjoy your day, sir.
