Morning devotional, Wednesday 21st May 2014 @ 06:00 hrs(CAT) Friends Good morning! I want you to bear in mind that God does not want us to use him like a lucky charm. Effective christianity is where you allow God to work through you. Thats how mary was able to say when the angel told her she would have a baby who would be the saviour. She said be it done unto me according to your will. We must come to a place where we become conduits of Gods grace, favour and power. You might have the human energy and the expertise or potential to get things done, or even the skill and propensity for success but if you think you can do those things apart from Gods will, power and blessing, you are destined for ultimate disappointment and failure—vanity. Eventually it will come to failure. Beloved, God wants to work in us both to will and to do his good pleasure. Today, understand that the key living a life of ease, rather than dis-ease is to allow him who both holds Your life and your future in his hands to take control of your life..Rest easy today because God is in control. Let him work in you and through you. Here are some prayer points: 1. Thank you lord for this day. 2. Lord today i thank you because you are in control in Jesus name! 3. Today, i choose to focus on your greatness and ability in my life. 4. Father your will be done in my life as is in heaven in Jesuss name! Meditate on Psalm 127:1-2.
