Morning everyone, Council has been receiving a large number of calls from Putāruru residents regarding the street lights not working. We are aware of the problem, but it is out of the hands of Council and our maintenance contractor. Tenix is working to resolve the problem, however there is a cable fault that cant be located and is causing a cascade fault across the whole area. Effectively the signal is “daisy-chained” through the network in Putāruru and any break in the chain will affect a wide area. Council will update you when we know more.
