Morning everyone! Just talked to Candace. The news was encouraging to me. The neurologist yesterday was concerned because he feels little Jacobs limbs do not have enough tone in them. This morning Candace was encouraged because he sucked on a binky last night and he had a little fight in him when the nurse was working with him. Enough fight that Candace had to hold his little arms to allow the nurse to work. Candace said he is weak so the fight doesnt last very long. Today will be little Jacobs first feeding! Pray his little body tolerates it and that they can increase this daily. Today is the first day his platelets have gone UP a little! Praise God! Last night I found myself praying as I fell asleep that Candace and Matt would go in this morning to find that little Jacob was moving his legs and arms. Please pray with me that he will have good movement of his little limbs as the days go on and he gets some nourishment, rest, cuddles and strength.
