Most 20 something men would rather wear the mask of perfection. Theyd rather fix up the outside of the house and photoshop the truth than say Im scared out of my mind. I dont have it all figured out. I need you to stand with me through the struggle. I need you to walk with me through my mess ups and default mistakes. But the truth is, deep down were all thinking that. Its something every man goes through. But honestly, I believe one of the marks of a man is being willing to stand vulnerable in the complete truth. Id rather admit my errors early on, wreck hard & fast when Im young than to hide behind empty, weak walls and wreck harder 20 years down the road and take ministries, businesses, kids and a wife with me. Young men, well regret masquerading. Image now isnt worth sacrificing the rest of your life. Fail hard, fail fast...even when it hurts. Its a matter of image for short-term personal benefit versus sacrifice and selflessness now for the benefit of others later. One digs a deeper hole, the other helps get us out of the hole were already in. One propels us into manhood, the other locks the door on our boyhood. Theres a fork in the road ahead of us.
