Most Christians realize Jesus died for our sins. Thank God He - TopicsExpress

Most Christians realize Jesus died for our sins. Thank God He did; its because of Him that we, as believers, will never have to see death, but are blessed with the gift of everlasting life. Glo-reh! :) However, I dont believe many of us realize what else He died for. He carried your sickness, He died so you can have peace (Isaiah 53:5) and He also died so that you might have joy and that your joy will remain. As single believers, it could be easy to lose joy. Joy is different then a temporary feeling of happiness; its a condition of the heart. A lot of times, in the cases of break up or divorce or just plain ole disappointment, joy seemingly disappears. Im not saying not to cry, its okay to release your feelings and emotions at the moment, but the key is not to stay in that place. Even if youre crying on the way there, still go to church as much as often and lift your hands in the congregation and give the Lord a shout of praise. Praise God until the pain is lifted, praise Him until you receive your breakthrough! Its the enemy, known as satan, who wants you to stay in a desert place. He wants to get you alone on an island, feeling like nobody knows and tricking you into thinking youre the only one who is going through something right now. No, Jesus also died so that you might have joy, so it is up to you to activate the joy within, no matter the present circumstance. So lift your hands, right now if you can, and give the Lord a shout of praise...even if its a sacrifice of praise where you dont feel like it, continue to praise God, thank Him for all you have such as life, health, and strength, food on your table, clothes on your back, healthy children (if youre a parent) and the fact that youre still clothed in your right mind. Yes, you have MUCH to praise Him for, so instead of focusing on whats before you, look up and praise Him, because He has a much brighter future lying ahead of you. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full John 15:11 -KB #Glo-reh to God!!! 🙌 #soh-reh Lord,,.. 🙏 #so help me Jesus. 😊
