Most homesteads generate some brush as they are being developed. How to get rid of it? There are many ways to utilize the brush if you have the resources to. You can dig a big hole and bury it, you can haul it off somewhere, you can build a privacy fence or go a step further and build a privacy berm. If you dont have the resources available to do these things, how do you dispose of brush on your homestead? We had a big pile left from the previous owners. If we had cut it ourselves, we would cut it into firewood as we went along and use it to heat our home. Much of this pile was decomposing and not good for firewood.
