Most major parent fail ever this morning! We were leaving home when I felt a bump-bump under the car. I knew immediately what it was- Jacksons puppy! In a panic I was trying to decide to keep going and pretend it ran away or tell him what happened. I guess he saw the panic in my eyes because he turned around and saw him lying there. I jumped out and went to check on the puppy but it wasnt good. I called my dad to come and get him and then told Jackson that puppy didnt make it. He wasnt mad at me like I expected, only said it was an accident, its ok. He did cry a little which broke my heart but I am so thankful for a forgiving child. Then he asked for another one! NO!
