Most of todays Modern Church would prefer the Purpose Driven Life, Humanstic Psychology, Five steps to find your Deliverance and anything but the Moving and operation of the Holy Ghost. Repentance is a word that doesnt fit their vocabulary and Sin certainly is a big offensive word! They Believe tongues isnt for today or that tongues should be shut up in a little room somewhere so people dont get put off!!! What a horrible way to treat that which is Holy.Their idea of Salvation is people will evolve into Christians as they join the church and do what we do!!! They dont preach because they believe that the Bible doesnt really say this is how people are to hear the Gospel message. They say dont say too much about Jesus, otherwise you will put people off! The say the power is in the Resurrection and the Atonement is the greatest defeat in history! They dont mention the Blood of Jesus because its too graphic and horrible. They dont mention The Cross because it will kill peoples self-esteem and give no credit to man. They play ungodly music and movies to attract the Youth, They do the things that we are told to be seperated from, they then have the nerve to call those that preach the Blood, religious, old-fashioned and out-dated. Well, Just for the record, MY BIBLE SAYS: FOR THE PREACHING OF THE CROSS IS TO THEM WHO PERISH FOOLISHNESS, BUT UNTO US WHO ARE SAVED IT IS THE POWER OF GOD 1 COR. 1:18. IT PLEASED GOD BY THE FOOLISHNESS OF PREACHING TO SAVE THEM WHO BELIEVE. 1 COR. 1:21. AND HE SAID UNTO THEM ALL, IF ANY MAN WILL COME AFTER ME, LET HIM DENY HIMSELF, AND TAKE UP HIS CROSS DAILY. LK. 9:23. REPENT OF THIS YOUR WICKEDNESS... ACTS 8:22. NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, BUT THAT ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE. 2 PET. 3:9. WHOM GOD HAS SET FORTH TO BE A PROPITIATION THROUGH FAITH IN HIS BLOOD, TO DECLARE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS THAT ARE PAST, THROUGH THE FORBEARANCE OF GOD; ROM. 3:25 BUT WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM: FOR HE WHO COMES TO GOD MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS HEB. 11:6 AND A STONE OF STUMBLING, AND A ROCK OF OFFENCE, EVEN TO THEM WHICH STUMBLE AT THE WORD, BEING DISOBEDIENT; WHEREUNTO ALSO THEY WERE APPOINTED. 1 PET. 2:8. SO THEN BECAUSE YOU ARE LUKEWARM, AND NEITHER COLD NOR HOT, I WILL SPUE YOU OUT OF MY MOUTH. REV. 3:16. DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT THE UNRIGHTEOUS SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD? 1 COR.6:9. WHEREFORE COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, AND BE YE SEPARATE, SAITH THE LORD 2 COR. 6:17. JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.
