The Cascade Vaulters are looking for a new home. After several - TopicsExpress

The Cascade Vaulters are looking for a new home. After several months of trying to negotiate a facility use agreement, last week the management of Windhorses announced that they would no longer allow volunteer members of the Cascade Vaulters ride our club horses at Patterson Creek Farm LLC and that Windhorses would charge an additional $650 per month to continue allowing the club to conduct vaulting practices. While the additional fees would have been a struggle, it was the prohibition on volunteers help to exercise our horses that is needed to keep them healthy and fit that lead us to the decision to remove our horses from Windhorses care. On Monday we moved Cascades Cali and Cascades Royal to Stonegate Stables in Maple Valley. We are very grateful to the Reitz family for supporting our club. Our short term goal is healthy stability for our horses and a welcoming practice environment for our vaulters through the AVA/USEF National Championships at the end of July / beginning of August. We are also actively seeking access to a facility in the Fall City, Carnation, Duvall, Snoqualmie, Smammish, Redmond, Issaquah areas with a suitable covered arena that might be able to host our club starting some time beyond Nationals. If you have information about such a facility please contact us through our website at cascadevaulters.org/ContactUs.
