Most of you know Coach Sinclair Mo Deal from Granite Falls High, but Mr. Deal was involved in the community in so many other ways. Here is a nice little tidbit that Sherrie Hartsoe Sigmon shared with me. It has Coach Deal wrote all over it! ....................................................................................................................... In 1990 our church, Philadelphia Lutheran, celebrated its 125th anniversary by burying a time capsule that is to be opened on its 200th anniversary in 2065. After the dedication of the capsule, Sinclair walked over to JD Robinette and said, Doc, what time do we open it in 2065? JD replied, at 9 AM. Sinclair said, Ill stop by Hardees to get the biscuits if you will start the coffee brewing.
