Most people require a job to make their way in the world. Lacking a job can feel like everything is against you. Yet God provides to those who have faith. Remember Matthew 6:26: Look at the birds in the air, they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? The Lord provides to those who ask for assistance in faith and then work to achieve their goals. Through God all things are possible. If the words you wish to say won’t come out, here is a prayer for employment; prayed with you in mind. God, our Father, favour those who turn to you seeking your divine help and guidance as they look for suitable employment. Know that they need your wisdom to guide their footsteps along the right path, and to lead them to find the proper things to say and do in this quest. Allowing them to use the gifts and talents you have given them, but they need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment. Do not abandon them, dear Father, in this search, but rather grant them the favour they seek so that they may return to you with praise and thanksgiving for your gracious assistance.
