Most people would probably run away from an active volcano. But a pair of American daredevils recently climbed hundreds of feet down into one, capturing their adventure on dramatic video that has gone viral. Wearing fire-resistant suits, it took George Kourounis and Sam Cossman roughly two hours to make the 1200-foot descent into the volcano, which put them about 50 feet above the hot, churning lava. You cannot physically get any closer to this lava without swimming in it, Kourounis told CNN. Parts of it actually splashed me and melted my jacket. Watch KTLAs video here: ktlane.ws/1ulsMux
