Most roads have returned to dry (normal) condition, however some (mostly secondary roads) are still covered with snow/ice. Temperatures are forecast to be above the freezing mark for most of the state this afternoon; this will help accelerate ice removal efforts. While this is encouraging news, icing will continue to be a lingering problem on our roadways until this afternoon. Travel on secondary roads may be treacherous in sections and extreme caution is recommended. Temperatures in District Two are ranging between 12-15 degrees. Secondary roads and bridges continue to be treated in spots with deicing materials. All interstates are in good condition. They plan to clean up and repair equipment later today and return to normal operations.
