Mother Nature is VERY mysterious. I am taking this moment to remind you this as I myself fall victim to feeling oblivious that my children are not animals......they are! Lindsay can attest to this feeling. I have just lost Fred, my 5-6yr old goose. When Fred lost his mate to a snake bite, I ordered 8 goslings. Fred was immediately in love and took them under his wing, no seriously, little heads popping out under his wing. He raised them up to be what they are today. As he has entered his elderly life, the youngsters now two, have showed him no shame. Unfortunately Fred has passed. He was the best goose you could ever ask for! RIP Fred.
