Mothers hair stylist retired, so the lady in the next chair - TopicsExpress

Mothers hair stylist retired, so the lady in the next chair volunteered to take her as a client. Much appreciated, Linda. You know how much my Little Mama already likes and trusts you. I am grateful for your kindness. But, the appointment is now an hour earlier than before and I think its going to work out great. Little Mama is already back and in her room. Last time I looked she was dragging out a pillow and a blanket. I think she feels a nap coming on. LOL Its chilly here today; about 50 degrees, but the damp air makes it feel colder. We didnt have any trick or treaters here last night, but then we never do. Its all college age or older on our street. I had to laugh when I pulled out of our neighborhood onto the street I take to Mothers salon. There are two straight blocks where whole rolls of toilet paper were thrown out on the grass all along the street. Just tossed. Not unwrapped and dangling from trees. Not papering someones bushes or fence. Just brand new rolls of T.P. sitting along the curbs. Im thinking they were either the laziest trick or treaters in history; too lazy to unroll it and make a mess, or they were foreign college students who didnt quite get the gist of the process. LOLOLOL I started writing The Dove yesterday. The people in the story are already in my head, pushing, pushing, pushing, at me to get their story told. I had to concentrate and clear my thoughts last night after I went to bed or I would never have gone to sleep. Finding lots of pennies lately, reinforcing what I know is true; that we are never alone. Look for your signs. They are always there when you need them most. It may come as a familiar scent, or a song, or a touch when no one was there. Look twice at the little bird who sits on your windowsill waiting for you to see. Dont doubt. Nothing is a coincidence. As my Bobby always said... pay attention.
