#MoveOfTheDay! Todays move is a compound move utilizing weights that works glutes, hamstrings, shoulders, and obliques. When Im adding extra moves to my scheduled routine, I like to do compound movements like this to make the most out of the time I have. Start with a fairly light weight on these because while the straight leg deadlift can handle a heavier weight, the forward raise will wear those shoulders out pretty quickly and you dont want to risk injury. For reference I am using a 12 pound weight here. Do these for 12 reps on each side, then 10 on each, then 8 on each. If you can easily do that, its time to increase your weight.
