Moved Mom into her new home today. (Board & Care, 2 blks from me). She seemed to settle in nicely. I gave her the tour & then she laid down on the bed to rest. They suggested to put a portable toilet near her bed, so she doesnt stumble around trying to find her bathroom in the middle of the night, until she gets use to her surroundings. Her response:, Im not that sick! lol & then I told her dinner is probably in an hour in the dining room. She said, Should I put on makeup for dinner? What?? lol How cute is that? Shes definitely feeling better & walking with her walker just fine. Shell probably not need it all the time, even. I hope she continues to do well, & I hope she likes it there. I have so much more to do with her LW house.
