Movie Deal News! I have some. Kinda. The news is this: Ive just agreed to a movie option deal for one of my books. Hurrah! Thing is, thats all I can say. Its really early days, and the folks involved will likely stipulate that THEY get to announce it for real. Sometime. Could be awhile. Could be never! (Thats happened before.) I should be clear that all this means is that a film making entity ha acquired the rights, for a fixed amount of time, to try to make a film based on the book. Doesnt mean its happening, just that somebody out there wants it to. But still, I want to say how pleased I am, and how much I hope there are details to be revealed in the months to come! By the way, if youre into guessing, you can rule out Gabriels Story. Thats already under option, has been for nine years! So its one of the other books... ;)
