Movie Review Time...And this time its Thalas Aarambham!!! Let me start with this.. The only common thread between this film and Swordfish is Hacking.. Otherwise its a completely different movie with all the possible masala added to satisfy Thala fans.. Every scene reeks of Ajiths on-screen persona - Punch dialogues...Slow motion style statements.. Bike and car stunts.. U name it.. They have it.... But you got to leave your thinking hats at home.. Some scenes lack basic logic like the one where Ajith escapes from police (that too not ordinary police but Mumbai ATS) and travels to Dubai.. Hellooos. WTF is the airport police security doing and even worse who gave the visa????.. But who cares - Its Thala da and what we get is good 2.5 hrs of entertainment. (Well.. Tats wat matters right..). Theres some 5-10 minutes of pathetic, irritating,unwanted, ridiculous flashback scenes of a bloated Arya in the college.. (Btw the college name is SSM..) which could have been completely avoided.. I dont think even Arya fans can bear it... Songs - Not anything to write about except for the intro song.. Good choreography.. BGM during Thalas mass scenes are very catchy though... Climax is like a Vijayakanth movie - Everyone shoots at everyone and everybody gets hurt except our Thala... (Illena seruppadi thandi director ku!!)... Mothathula - A treat for Ajiths fans this diwali and definitely worth a watch for others!!
