Mr. Charles Reid “Pete” Barrineau, Jr., age 87, of Douglas, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013, at his residence following an extended illness. Survivors include: His Wife of 51 Years : Elizabeth Jane Norris Barrineau of Douglas, Ga.; Children: Wesley Sears and Cynthia Sears Pridgen both of Douglas, Ga.; 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grand Children; 2 Sisters: Martha Boggus of Fitzgerald, Ga., Margaret Scott of North Augusta, South Carolina; 3 Brothers: Raymond Barrineau of North Augusta, South Carolina; Emory Barrineau of Tallahassee, Florida; Edwin Barrineau of Jacksonville, Florida; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives. Funeral Services will be Wednesday afternoon, July 3,2013, at 4:30 P.M. at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with the Interment to follow in the Douglas City Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home. Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
