Mr. Hill, President Johnson enacted the Highway Bill, HUD, Welfare, Medicade and Medicare (as did Lady Bird with her Beautify America Act) for the good of ALL people. I do not believe he did this either for financial or personal gain and fame; it was to give the races and classes equal footing and for all Americans the opportunity to advance to a true-middle class. Instead, it just seems to have made things worse: to promote fraud and unspeakable acts of violence, crime, drug abuse and a further displacement of the classes.Im not throwing blame in any direction, but I will suggest that the politicians that we elect with hope and trust, will sort out their differences so we as people...American people, can sort out our class-differences, put specific agendas aside and learn how to create a society where we all have true equal-opportunity and the honest pursuit of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness; as our founding fathers ment for our America to be.
