Mr Sassy Pants the Squirrel was in my birdie feeder, AGAIN. Honestly, nothing I do scares him away. Mr Sassy Pants could care less about my window BLAMOS, and he just sits there calmly nibbling away while I holler at him and paw at the dining room window. Sigh. I gave up and enlisted EverLovin’. I convinced EverLovin’ to leave the other room and led her to the dining room window by crying and wailing, muttering and grumbling. Yes, I cried. I was truly upset. Anyhoo, I sat on my stool in the dining room window with my nose 3 inches from Mr Sassy Pants in my birdie feeder. 3 inches, and I’m not exaggerating. He just stared. He just sat there nibbling and staring at me & EverLovin’ both. Big Mistake. EverLovin’ stepped to the side of the window where he could not actually see her then she reached over and did this rapid-fire banging thing with her fist on the glass right next to Mr Sassy Pants! WOW! That was Loud! I jumped so hard I ‘bout fell off my stool. But I didn’t fall off. And I didn’t run away either. ‘Cause I’m not the same ‘fraidy cat I used to be. HA! HA! You should have seen Mr Sassy Pants though! It was like he exploded or got shot out of a cannon. I thought for a second there he was going to turn himself inside out streaking out of my birdie feeder because, you know, he is kind of a tight fit. There were Sassy Pants legs failing every direction of the compass. As it was, he may have landed in the neighbor’s yard. Take that, Mr Sassy Pants. HA! HA! EverLovin’ said Mr Sassy Pants probably didn’t know it was her making the banging noise so maybe he wouldn’t be so quick to come back next time he saw me in the window. When RickyDoodle came home from the store I met him at the garage door, wailing and carrying on. I led him over to my stool in the dining room window and told him the whole story. RickyDoodle was impressed with my enthusiasm although he didn’t quite understand what I was talking about until EverLovin’ interpreted. ♥Stewie
