Mrs. Helen Jean Millsap, age 73 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the St. Elizabeth’s Place in Jonesboro. Born October 30, 1940 in Cave City, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Geneva Shirley Brandon and was a member of the Valley View Church of Christ. Mrs. Millsap worked at Skill Care Nursing Home and enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and crocheting. She is survived by her husband George Millsap of the home; three sons: Christopher William Millsap and wife Peggy of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Danny Lynn Millsap of Melbourne, Arkansas and Timothy Lee Millsap and wife Michelle of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two daughters: Brenda Hattenhour and husband Phil of Bono, Arkansas and Sharon Wallace and husband George of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother: Jesse Brandon and wife Darlene of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mrs. Millsap also leaves several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Mrs. Millsap was preceded in death by her parents: Robert Brandon and Geneva Shirley Brandon. Funeral services will be Monday, June 23, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Valley View Church of Christ in Valley View, Arkansas with Mr. Kerry Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Cemetery in Bono, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Monday, June 23, 2014 at 1:00pm until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be: Christopher Millsap, C.J. Millsap, Derek Millsap, Tommy Snyder, Wesley Bellow and Eugene Stringer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Timothy Millsap and George Wallace.
