Ms. Ernestine Johnson, born and raised in LA and currently - TopicsExpress

Ms. Ernestine Johnson, born and raised in LA and currently residing in Atlanta, calls out the American mentality of white supremacist objectification of women of color and American societys supercilious classist stereotypes of the multiply oppressed, i.e., so-called average black girls. She pays homage to of the Black community - among them Harriet Tubman, Fannie Lou Hamer, Ella Baker, Diane Nash, Egyptian queens, and African warriors. Deep Green Resistance asks all white-privileged activists to commit themselves in every aspect of their lives - political or otherwise - to dismantling racism, personally and culturally. Communities of color alone cannot change white communities from the outside, nor is it their responsibility. Turn it up loud, and listen! deepgreenresistance.org youtu.be/twZFGIAusak
