Much like people had many misconceptions of what homeschool is (some still do) many dont truly understand what unschooling is. This small example demonstrates the method almost perfectly. From the parents side its about us working for the child to help them find the resources needed for their interests and learning style in order to make their learning experiences successful. But most importantly its about allowing them the gift of loving to learn, not making it a chore, but a passion. Because when done right, learning never ends. Everyone reading this has unschooled themselves on something, and you enjoyed it, you really enjoyed it.. Imagine if that is how you were free to learn everything.
