Mulligan was my first foster from lab rescue and of course I failed miserably. He was a big headed crazy boy who loved his momma. He had a vicious lab lean and could cuddle like a pro. Everyone who met him LOVED him. People that is, not many dogs and my bubba got along, he was as they say, reactive. Although rambunctious at times, he was a good brother to his sister Lucy. He was a typical lab in that he LOVED to eat. In fact each time he saw me he would lick his lips since he thought my only job was to feed him. He was not a typical lab in that he hated water, anything athletic and catching a ball was a skill he Never learned. But he kept trying. Twenty balls thrown to him in a row, he maybe caught one but that one made him prance and brag for a long time.(as his athletic big sister rolled her eyes) He was a presence in my life and he is greatly missed. But he is running with all my other babies at the bridge ( and hopefully being nice). When you came into my life Mulligan you brought such joy and I will keep that joy with me forever. And in your honor we will start fostering again for LRCP. I love you mulligan and hope you are catching all the balls at the bridge!
